Missionary Chaya

I was born 10 May 1996 into a nominal Christian family in India. I have parents and eight sisters. From childhood, I used to attend Sunday school regularly. But I did not know the Lord personally.

Since my father was a drunkard, he never attended church services. One day, my father drank alcohol excessively and was coming back home. On the way to home, he felt on the road and was injured very badly. However, my mother took him to the hospital but he was not getting better.

During this time, the pastor came to our home and prayed for my father and encouraged him from the Word of God. Through this incident, my father’s life was transformed. Meanwhile, I could not go to school. But I always attended the worship services. And I began to pray to God to give me the grace so that I could read the Bible. Miraculously, the Lord helped me and I was able to read and write. Hence, I committed my life to Jesus and received Him as my personal Saviour.

Gradually, a desire grew in my heart to serve the Lord. As I sought the will of God for my life, He confirmed me of His calling. Thus, I enrolled in a GFA Bible School.
