Missionary Anju

I was born 16 May 1997 into a Christian family in India. My mother took delight in teaching us from the Word and encouraged us to attend Sunday school and Sunday worship regularly.

When I was a small child, I suffered from epilepsy. Once my condition became critical and I was hospitalized. My mother cried out to the Lord to heal me. The next day when the doctor came for check-up he said that I was perfectly normal.

During this time, I attended a Gospel meeting which was organized in my village. The preached said whoever believes in Jesus would be saved and would have eternal life. These words awoke me and recollected the event of my life where God proved his faithfulness towards me. Soon, I realized that I was a sinner. And while praying, I confessed my sins and received Jesus as my Saviour.

Drawing closer to the Saviour, my heart was moved with a genuine passion for the lost souls. As I spent considerable time in the presence of God, I was confirmed of His call to toil on the mission field. I then joined a Gospel for Asia Bible School to undergo a better training for the glorious ministry ahead.
