Blanket - $7 each
Warmth at Night. On those blustery winter nights, who doesn’t like to curl up under a warm, soft blanket? But often, only a thin sheet shelters poor families in Asia from the cold. Your gift of $7 for a blanket will provide much-needed comfort and protection against the harsh, winter elements.
Chickens - $16 a pair
Did you ever receive a rooster or hen as a Christmas present? Maybe not, but for the family of a Bridge of Hope child, these animals are a welcome gift—and often the source of anywhere from 200–300 eggs a year! And when the pair produces chicks, a brood develops that will provide nourishment and income for years. For just $16, you can bless a South Asian family with a pair of chickens.
Lambs - $93 each
Fleece as White as Snow. One lamb can produce up to 30 pounds of wool per year—each pound making up to 10 miles of yarn! Richer in nutrients than cow's milk, sheep's milk is delicious to drink and perfect for making cheese. And every year, a pair of sheep can also reproduce lambs that can be sold at market—and they commonly deliver twins! They're also a great source of lean meat. Water Buffalo - $660 each
A Christmas gift of a water buffalo to a poor family in South Asia is one that will bring provision for years to come. Whether it's providing transportation, pulling the plow for harvest, or providing milk—this animal is a wonderful addition to any family! Water Filter - $43 each
Many poor regions of Asia have no source of pure drinking water. Using concrete and sand, these bio water filters remove impurities, providing water for drinking and cooking that is 98 percent pure. For $43, help provide pure water in an Asian village—and a chance for them to hear of the living water Jesus offers.
Sewing Machine - $120 each
Remember your grandmother's sewing machine? You may have seen one like many people in Asia still use today—operated by a foot treadle. For the poor of Asia, sewing is not just a hobby; it is an opportunity to earn a livelihood for their family. This Christmas, you can give a gift of a sewing machine for $120 that not only will put clothes on the backs of a mother's children, but will put food on her family's table as well.
Rickshaw - $190 each
Not Your Average Taxi. Rickshaws are like the taxis of Asia. For many low–caste people, being a rickshaw driver is the one opportunity they have to provide for their families. However, many have to rent a rickshaw every morning because they can't afford their own. Up to half their daily income can go toward renting this vital piece of equipment. With their very own rickshaw, these hardworking people can keep all that they earn to help pay for their family's basic necessities.

It is the Christmas season again! Joyous songs and good food with family and friends all remind us of God's great provision and care for us.
As I sit in my comfy living room with my wife, I thank God for sending us Jesus. And I can't help but think of the thousands of men, women and children in Asia who are rejoicing with us. I still remember the “small beginnings” of our ministry nearly 30 years ago. I marvel and praise God for the countless lives of men, women and children in Asia He has touched through the years. For many, this is their first year to know about Jesus—and what a joyous celebration it is for them this Christmas season!
But I am also reminded that for many of these poor believers, a new animal or a clean drink of water would mean more than a new electronic gadget might mean to us. Since many of these families don't know about Christ, these gifts will give our missionaries a chance to share the Gospel—the best gift of all.
This area offers you the chance to lift up your eyes and pour out the spirit of rejoicing on needy families in Asia. These gifts all bring a life-changing message of Christ’s provision and your thoughtfulness. It’s such an easy way to truly transform a life during this season of celebration!
