With few or no cultural barriers to overcome, native missionaries can readily share the love of Christ with those of whom most have never even heard of His name. Although native missionaries do face many difficult obstacles as they take the message from village to village, through our prayer and support they can do it. They especially have the benefit of knowing the culture, being able to speak or easily learn the local languages and dialects, and easily fit into the socio-economic environment in which they serve.

   I was born into a Hindu family in India. Being Hindus, we were involved in observing all the rituals.

   I led myself toward worldly patterns and was not serious about my studies. Consequently, I failed in the tenth grade exams.

   I left home secretly and went to a place called Bangalore. There I worked in a wine shop. Knowing this, my brother called me back home. As I returned and continued my studies, again I failed in the twelfth grade exams. Again I fled to Bangalore and joined a bakery. While working, I happened to meet one of my relatives who is a pastor.

   Being with the pastor, I heard several things about Christ. The more he shared about the Lord, the more I grew in my faith. Gradually, I was convicted of my sins and finally, I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.

   I perceived the Lord’s calling for the ministry. As a result, I enrolled myself in GFA Bible School to be equipped for the ministry.

   I was born into a Hindu family in India. I worshipped several gods and goddesses.

   In order to receive blessings, we used to offer the blood of animals as a sacrifice. But we never received favor from them.

   As years passed, one day my father was afflicted with a severe sickness. Though we took him to many hospitals, nothing good resulted in his condition. Gradually, we gave up hope and thought that he would die soon.

   One of our neighbors guided us to meet a pastor. He then fasted and prayed. The Lord in His mercy heard his plea and healed our father miraculously. We were stunned on God’s healing power and confessed our sins. As a result along with my family members, I received Jesus as my personal Savior and experienced the divine peace in our hearts.

   I then started spending time with the Lord. Soon, the thirst to know the Word grew in me and the Lord confirmed me of my calling for ministry and I enrolled in a GFA Bible School.

   I was born into a Hindu family in India. Being very religious, we worshipped a host of gods and goddess.

   As days rolled by, I appeared in my tenth grade examination hoping to pass with good marks but it did not happen. I was totally disappointed. I was ashamed to meet my friends and unable to face people around me.

   At that time, I happened to meet a friend of mine who brought me an encouraging message. There I came to know Jesus who would give not only joy but also save me from my sins if I believed Him. Without delay I confessed my sins and received Him to be my personal Savior. As a result, an inexpressible joy filled my heart.

   I began to live a better life that I never lived in the past. I also had a desire to serve Him. When I prayed for God’s guidance, He confirmed me of His call for the ministry. I came to know about GFA Bible School where I enrolled to equip myself for the task ahead.
