A Labour of Love. The backbone of Gospel for Asia's ministry is the native missionaries we support. By sponsoring a native missionary, you will provide his or her basic needs so that your sponsored missionary can focus full–time on ministering to the people in unreached areas. You will have a part in bringing the Good News of Jesus to people who may have never heard it before. It only takes $40 per month to help sponsor a missionary and be part of his support team.
Select A MissionaryTransform a Young Life. For many children in Asia, a bright future is only a dream—because they're the poorest of society. Although they're hard-working and willing to learn, they don't have the opportunity to attend school. But you can change a child's life forever, giving them a bright future and spiritual hope! By sponsoring a Bridge of Hope child, you will provide clean clothes, meals, medical care, an education and the chance to know that Jesus loves them.
Select A ChildRelief from All That Walking. A brand–new bicycle is not only an exciting Christmas gift—it also means saving valuable time and energy. In one day, a native missionary may walk 10–15 miles. With a bicycle, he can cover three to four times as much territory, reaching even more lost souls with the Gospel. A heavy–duty, Indian–made bicycle can be a wonderful Christmas gift for $160.
The Good News x200. Help a native missionary share the story of our Saviour with Gospel tracts to pass out in his village. Literature is treasured in Asia, so Gospel tracts are a gift that you can be sure will be passed on and read by others. Your gift of $1.50 will provide 200 Gospel tracts for a native missionary to share.
Let it Snow—They'll be Covered. Bless a missionary this Christmas with warm winter clothing to aid his or her ministry! Each winter clothing packet will give a blanket, two pairs of socks and a sweater to someone sharing the Gospel in a cold climate. Men will also receive a winter shirt and a pair of trousers, while ladies will get a cozy shawl and a skirt. The cost of a warm Christmas wardrobe? Just $58 for the complete packet.
Hope in Their Language. A chance to read the Bible on their own is a gift that every native missionary wants to give to the people among whom they minister. You can provide a missionary, and the believers he disciples, with a Bible for $4.30 or eight New Testaments for $5.80.
Give a Joyful Noise. Native missionary teams always draw a crowd when they enter a village and begin playing worship songs with their musical instruments. The two most common instruments used in Asian worship are drums and tambourines. Believers also use these instruments to worship the Lord in church! You can “gift wrap” a drum for a missionary musician for $32 and tambourines for only $7 each.
Ministry in the Air. You can broadcast the story of Christ throughout India and other Asian countries on GFA Radio. Thousands have given their lives to the Lord because of these programmes in their own languages. People who are exposed to the Gospel through radio tend to be more receptive to native missionaries when they visit. You can provide one 15–minute programme for $65 or one hour of programming for $265.
Zooming from village to village, a scooter or motorcycle makes expanding a ministry easier. Missionaries are able to go farther, faster when they have such incredible outreach tools as these—especially in hilly areas. And they can carry two missionaries at a time! Instead of exerting all their energy just to get to a village, they can be refreshed and ready to share the Good News at every stop along the way.
Project His Love. Man of Mercy, an Indian–made film on the life of Jesus, is one of the most effective ways to share the Gospel with people in Asia. Millions have already given their lives to Christ as a result of watching this moving film. To share this amazing story with others, native missionaries all across the mission field are waiting for an LCD projector kit, which includes the film and all the equipment needed to show it. What a wonderful gift you can share for $2,500!
