GFA World ministers among the most unreached, sharing the love of Jesus with them.
Child Hope Packet
Suggested donation: $77
The opportunity for a Dalit child to receive an education and the love of Jesus is the best gift imaginable. Your Child Hope Packet will make it possible for an "Untouchable" child to go to school. Your gift helps provide school uniforms, books, tutoring and help with homework, at least one nutritious meal each day and a yearly medical checkup. Children in the program will also hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many times, entire families are changed through just one child. A $77 Hope Packet can change one child's life for all eternity.
Leprosy Ministry
The main goal of our leprosy ministry is to share the love of Jesus and the hope of the Gospel with the victims of this disfiguring disease. At the same time, we seek to help them with the many needs and challenges they face in their personal lives, their families and their colonies.
Widows Ministry
Your gift enables pastors in Asia to help widows in need and buy them income-producing necessities (like sewing machines and farm animals) and much-needed supplies (like blankets and water filters). Widows will not only hear that Christ cares for them, but they will also experience His love firsthand and see how He gives them dignity, peace and eternal life.
Women's Ministry
The Scriptures show that the Lord has a special role for women to fulfill in His kingdom. The first person to whom God chose to announce His Son's earthly arrival was a woman. Through Jesus' ministry, He demonstrated His value of women in a male-dominated society—teaching them, touching them and healing them. And when He rose from the dead, women were the first to know.
Bible Colleges
Reaching the most unreached in our generation is the vision God has given to GFA World. For this to become a reality, we realized years ago that we would need to send out many more pioneer missionaries to start fellowships among all the unreached people groups of the Indian subcontinent and the neighboring countries.
Dalit Ministry
GFA-supported national missionaries are reaching out to India's 300 million Dalits ("Untouchables") through the sharing of Jesus' love, radio programs, literature distribution and much more.
Compassion Services
Suggested donation: $75
When you give to Compassion Services, you help meet the needs of people in desperate situations. With your gift, GFA missionaries can minister in slums and leprosy colonies, bring medical care to remote communities and provide practical, hope-filled relief supplies after a disaster, all revealing God’s compassion and care to burdened and broken individuals.
Church Building
Suggested donation: Range from $15,000 - $60,000
A church building is one of the most powerful tools for the growth of a congregation. It:
- Presents a consistent, welcoming location for visitors from any background who want to learn about Jesus.
- Frees believers to worship openly and exuberantly without worrying about disturbing their landlords or neighbors.
- Protects believers from intense summer heat and rain.
- Offers a safe haven for those experiencing opposition.
- Encourages a sense of permanency, credibility and stability for the congregation among the local community.
- Becomes a hub for ministry activities.
When you donate toward church buildings, you are investing in a place that will be filled with praise, prayer and discipleship, displaying the beauty and wonder of God.
Constructing a church building costs between $15,400 to $61,600, depending on size, location and available materials.
Jesus Wells
Suggested donation: $2,150
Jesus Wells, often located near GFA-supported churches or Bible colleges, provide hundreds of opportunities for missionaries to share the love of Jesus with the villagers who come for clean water. You can provide a Jesus Well for an entire community for $2,150.
Film Ministry
Suggested donation: $2,700
Countless people have taken ahold of the hope found in Christ after seeing Man of Mercy, a movie depicting the life of Christ. Teams doing film ministry use an LCD projector kit to show such movies. To offer more people the same opportunity, donate to film ministry to provide items like LCD projector kits.
House
Suggested donation: $7,700
Through GFA Compassion Services, you can provide a simple, strong house for a family for only $7,700—a house that will remind both parents and their children as they grow up that some people called Christians loved them enough to give them shelter ... and that their Jesus loves them as well.
Women's Literacy Program
Suggested donation: $40
Women's Literacy Classes Teach Scripture and SkillsWomen across South Asia gather each week for literacy classes where they learn reading, writing and math skills. When a woman completes the course, she's able to read warning labels to protect her children and understand contracts to avoid bonded labor. She won't get cheated at the marketplace because she will finally know how to add. And she can read the Bible for herself and teach it to her children.
Empower Women with the Ability to Read
These women must become better equipped to survive in a society that frequently takes advantage of them. Classrooms are available and willing teachers are ready—all these eager students need is a literacy book and something to write on. Please donate toward these effective teaching tools.
National Missionaries Fund
Suggested donation: $75
With a focus to reach villages with the Good News, thousands of national missionaries work day after day to bring the message of hope to those who so desperately need to hear. Your gift to the National Missionaries Fund enables missionaries who are under-supported, especially those just starting out, to continue to work full-time reaching more people with Christ’s love without having to leave the field.
Unsponsored Children Fund
Many of the 70,000 children in our Bridge of Hope program are waiting for permanent sponsors. Your gift here to the Unsponsored Children's Fund will help us provide for them.
Slum Ministry
Tens of millions of people in Asia live in the squalor of slums—in one-room shanties, usually without electricity, running water or toilets. But through slum ministry, the Lord is giving people in slums the chance for a better life. GFA World-supported national workers serving in slums teach adult literacy classes and tutor children. They disseminate information about health and hygiene. They distribute income-generating gifts, along with practical gifts, like water filters, toilets and clothing. They also share with slum dwellers about the greatest gift anyone could gain: the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.
Medical Ministry
Suggested donation: $520
GFA World’s Medical Ministry teams of trained nurses and doctors visit dozens of villages, and Bridge of Hope Centers, ministering to thousands of people each year, all in the name of the Great Physician—Jesus Christ.
Broadcasting the Good News
Suggested donation: $70 - $280
Broadcasting provides the opportunity for communities to learn about the love of Christ through radio programming, social media platforms and other key internet communication channels. Through these avenues, people across Asia-and even beyond-can discover powerful truths in God's Word. National workers write and record messages that are relevant to the cultures and struggles of each audience region, which strengthens people's ability to understand the full meaning of God's mercy. Your gift this year can truly "go tell it on the mountain"!
Holy Scriptures
Suggested donation: $16
A chance to read the Bible on their own is a gift that every national missionary wants to give the people they minister among. You can provide a missionary and the believers he disciples with Bibles and New Testaments.
Persecution Relief Fund
Daily, our brothers and sisters on the field face the reality of persecution for their faith in Christ. It's not uncommon for angry mobs of anti-Christians to beat up believers, burn down churches and torture pastors.
By contributing to persecution relief, you'll be a part of paying the medical expenses for believers, which can also include travel to bigger hospitals for treatment.
The funds will also be used to replace destroyed Gospel literature, rebuild houses and repair damaged church buildings, providing healing for all aspects of life touched by persecution-related attacks.
